Mini kunafa
I made this with my home made laccha shemai dough. if you want to use store bought laccha shemai then fry them with 1/2tsp Gee until slightly brown.
You will need:
Laccha shemai-2cup
milk-500ml
butter-1tsp
cornflour-1tbsp
sugar-3tbsp
vinegar-1tbsp
For syrup :
sugar-1/2cup
water-1/4cup
rose water-few drop
Method: make sugar syrup until its 1 tread stage. Heat 1, 1/2 cup milk and add 1tbsp vinegar. turn off heat and stir Chana will leaving whey. over a pot place Steiner and cover with cloths. pour Chana into it and drain all water from Chana. heat left over milk , add sugar and mix well. in a cup mix corn flour with some water and add with milk. keep moving spoon to avoid burn in bottom. when it look thick remove from heat and add Chana and mix well. now grease two small pan with butter or gee. sprinkle 1/2tbsp sugar in each pan. divide laccha in equal 4 portion. pre-heat oven at 170c. in a pan pour 1portion laccha and then 1 portion Chana mixture then cover with another portion of laccha. prepared both pan same way. bake into oven in the middle rack for 10-12 minutes. remove from oven and pour sugar syrup from side and the middle. with knife remove from side of pan. place a plate on the pan and flip it up. your mini kunafa is ready to serve.
